Last weekend it was 4th race of the Portuguese On-road Nationals 1/8 and 1/10 category. It took place at Vila Real track at the north of Portugal, one of the most fantastic on-road permanent circuits
The track has a huge layout and the best conditions to archive the best on-road races possible so the whole XRAY team worked since Saturday practices to get the best possible out of their cars, fortunately the expeted rain didnâ™t come so we raced in dry conditions.

This time XRAY had a new member Mario Miranda who drove the NT1 2013 Spec for first time and for him it was a new and grateful experience for sure.
With 18 drivers in the 1/8 scale and 12 in the 1/10 scale the qualification started on Subday morning. In both classes Bruno finished with TQ with Mario Miranda in 2nd in also both classes. All XRAY drivers made their best and got into the A main, thus confirmed also the great performance of both XRAY cars - RX8 and NT1.
At the start of the finals in 1/10 category, Bruno unfortunately experienced engine breakage. we replaced the engine and Bruno was able to get back on track in 7th place. He pushed really hard and after and excellent run, one tire change and no mistake he was able to finish third just behind another XRAY driver Rogerio Araujo in second and first time driving XRAY car Mario Miranda in first place.
In 1/8 category Bruno made some mistakes.He fell back few places and had to work his way up finishing second very close behind the winner Jose Felix.
